CyberVijay Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“Cyber Vijay”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who engages with us. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and how we protect it.
On this page
1. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we process as a Data Fiduciary — through our website, enquiry forms, marketing, and the course of delivering advisory and managed services to our clients. Where we process personal data on behalf of a client under a services agreement, we act as a Data Processor, and that client’s privacy notice and our contract govern that processing.
2. Data we collect
Information you provide
- Contact & enquiry data — name, work email, phone, company, and the message or area of interest you submit.
- Engagement data — information exchanged when scoping, contracting and delivering services.
Information collected automatically
- Technical & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring source, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
We do not intentionally collect special or sensitive categories of personal data through this website. Please do not submit such data in free-text fields.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and arrange discovery calls;
- To provide, manage and improve our services and this website;
- To send service communications and, where permitted, relevant updates you can opt out of at any time;
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep audit records;
- To comply with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
4. Lawful basis & consent
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, and compliance with law. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers / processors (e.g. hosting on Microsoft Azure, analytics, communications) bound by contract to protect it;
- Professional advisers and, where required, regulators or authorities under applicable law;
- Successors in the event of a reorganisation or transfer of our business, under equivalent protections.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Where personal data is transferred or stored outside India, we apply appropriate safeguards and only transfer to jurisdictions permitted under applicable law.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to satisfy legal, tax and regulatory requirements, and to resolve disputes. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months from last contact unless a longer period is required.
8. How we protect your data
As a cybersecurity firm, protection is our discipline. We apply an ISO/IEC 27001-aligned information security management system, encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), least-privilege access, network segmentation, logging and monitoring, and regular assessment of our own controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We continuously work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we process about you;
- Correction, completion and updating of your data;
- Erasure of your data where it is no longer required;
- Withdraw consent and opt out of marketing;
- Grievance redressal and the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Cookies
We use essential and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can manage your preferences at any time via the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.
11. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children without verifiable parental consent.
12. Changes to this policy
